Milica B. Zeljković Jovanović was born on July 7, 1993. She completed elementary school and the 13th Belgrade Gymnasium with excellent results. She enrolled in the Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade, Biology study program, in 2012, and graduated in 2016 with an average grade of 9,54. In the same year, she continued her master's studies, Molecular Biology and Physiology at the Faculty of Biology, Biophysics module, which she completed with an average grade of 9,83 and defended her master's thesis "Electrophysiological evaluation of nerve impulse conduction velocity along the corticospinal tract in healthy individuals". After completing her master's studies, in 2017 she enrolled in doctoral studies at the Faculty of Biology, Biology study program, Experimental Neurobiology module.
From March 2019 to April 2021, she was employed as a research intern at the Institute for Biological Research "Siniša Stanković" - an Institute of National Importance for the Republic of Serbia, University of Belgrade. Since May 2021, she has been employed as a research associate at the Department of General Physiology and Biophysics, Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade.
