Morphological, ultrastructural and histochemical studies of glandular trichomes of medicinal plants, examination of the biological activity of extracts and oils, as well as their potential application in pharmacy and medicine. The activity of plant extracts was also analyzed on erythrocytes, it was proven that phenolic components react with erythrocyte membranes, leading to reduced erythrocyte lysis. The next segment of the research is the immunocytochemical detection and localization of oxidative status enzymes in erythrocytes of patients with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Research has also been extended to the issue of the harmful effects of accumulated metals in plant cells and tissues, and the current focus is on studying the harmful cumulative effect of different concentrations of arsenic in drinking water on the reproductive system.
