Dr. Vladan Đorđević conducts research in the narrow scientific field of Ecology, Biogeography and Biodiversity Protection, with a special focus on the areas of: phytoecology and plant geography, horology, floristics and taxonomy. Some of the main goals of his research are: determining the spatial distribution and ecological preferences of representatives of the orchid family, determining the ecological factors that influence orchid diversity patterns, defining the ecological groups of orchids, as well as determining the conservation status and endangerment factors of orchids.
