Research area

The subject of Dr. Bojan Bozić's scientific research is mostly focused on studying the synthesis, structures and physicochemical properties of heterocyclic compounds (azo dyes, hydantoins, succinimides, pyridones, etc.), with special attention paid to the synthesis of new potentially biologically active compounds and various derivatives, with the determination of the relationship between structure and biological activity, i.e. physicochemical properties, being one of the main goals of his scientific research work. He is also very actively involved in new areas and has achieved significant scientific successes in the field of green chemistry, i.e. the field of organic catalysis, preparation and analysis of various plant extracts, bio/immunoinformatics, as well as the construction of sophisticated systems for the controlled release of active substances.
