Study program of specialized academic studies Biology is a one-year academic program, worth 60 ECTS credits, intended for the education and training of graduate students – specialists for professional and scientific work in the field of genetics, microbiology and immunology. The study program includes three modules: Genetics, Microbiology, Immunology with microbiologyAfter completing the study program Biology, all modules students acquire the academic title Specialist biologistStudents with completed module:

• Genetics have the knowledge and skills necessary to work in institutions of medical, pharmaceutical, agricultural and other branches; 
• Microbiology have the knowledge and skills necessary to work in microbiological laboratories in the pharmaceutical, food and other industries that have research and development laboratories, as well as laboratories for microbiological quality control;
• Immunology with microbiology have the knowledge and skills necessary to work in immunological, transfusion, hematological and microbiological laboratories, as well as laboratories for the preparation and monitoring of patients who have undergone transplantation, as well as in other medical, pharmaceutical and veterinary institutions that apply knowledge in immunology and microbiology.
