About the entrance exam

Literature for preparing for the entrance exam and a sample test.

The order of candidates on the unified ranking list is determined based on overall success in secondary education (maximum 40 points) and the results achieved on the entrance exam (maximum 60 points).

Candidates take an entrance exam in Biology. The entrance exam test contains 60 questions. The questions for the entrance exam are compiled exclusively according to the biology curriculum for all four grades of the high school of the natural sciences and mathematics major.

To prepare for the entrance exam for admission to the Faculty of Biology for the 2025/26 academic year, it is possible to use existing biology textbooks for the natural and mathematical direction of high schools, taking into account that all topics/teaching units that were covered in accordance with the curriculum that was valid for this year's generation of graduates are necessarily included.

Given that for each year of high school education there are textbooks published by different publishing houses, the Faculty of Biology does not assume responsibility for any material errors that may be found in any of these textbooks.

When taking the entrance exam, each candidate is required to bring a ballpoint pen, a paper with an application form and QR code, and a valid ID card or passport. The entrance exam takes 90 minutes.

Candidates who won 1st, 2nd or 3rd place in national competitions organized by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Serbia or in international competitions in biology during the 3rd or 4th grade of secondary school will be exempted from taking the entrance exam, with verification of the maximum number of points on the exam.
