The study program Biology Professor Master of Academic Studies is a one-year academic program of 60 ECTS credits, intended for the education and training of graduate students for professional work in the field of biology teaching. The study program consists of mandatory and elective courses that cover psychological-pedagogical-methodological content, as well as certain narrow areas of biology that are covered in schools. The most important goals of this study program include providing education for the preparation, implementation and evaluation of biology teaching, as well as acquiring competencies for the application of modern information and communication technologies and didactic models. Graduates of the study program Biology Professor Master of Academic Studies are qualified to achieve effective communication with students, colleagues and parents, as well as with the wider social community. The knowledge acquired upon completion of these studies ensures competitiveness in the labor market, as well as competence and expertise for further education at doctoral level in the Republic of Serbia.
