Student Parliament

The Student Parliament, a representative body of students at the Faculty of Biology with 23 members, was established with the aim of representing and realizing the interests of students, regulating issues important to students, improving academic and social relations, and developing student activities in various areas.

Every year, elections are organized for the Student Parliament of the Faculty of Biology, as well as for the Student Parliament of the University of Belgrade, and the Student Parliament of the Faculty of Biology is elected by the student vice-dean and student representatives in To the Faculty Council.

All students of the Faculty have the right to vote in elections for the Parliament and the right to stand as candidates. In order to pursue the interests of students of the Faculty of Biology, the Parliament cooperates with other bodies of the Faculty and the University of Belgrade, with competent ministries, other state bodies and organizations, and local and city government bodies, and provides opinions and proposals to competent bodies regarding issues of interest to the work of the Faculty and higher education.

The Student Parliament includes two extracurricular bodies: the Center for Scientific Research of the Faculty of Biology (CNIRS) and the student magazine "Symbioza", whose work supports the diversity of content and activities that our colleagues can engage in and consume.

Parliament projects that are being successfully implemented are "Student Mentor", "Promotion Project", "Science Day", "Journal Club" and "Small Review of the Works of the Faculty of Biology".
