The Quality Assurance Commission is an expert and advisory body that manages the quality assurance system, implements strategic planning, and makes decisions on guidelines and procedures for ensuring and improving the quality of the Faculty.
The Quality Assurance Commission is appointed by the Faculty's Teaching and Scientific Council. The term of office of the Commission members is 3 (three) years, except for student members whose term of office is one year.
The commission has nine members: two representatives from each institute (a teacher and an associate), one representative of non-teaching staff, a student vice-dean, and one representative of the Faculty's Student Parliament.
The Commission has the following responsibilities: prepares a draft Quality Assurance Strategy and draws up an action plan for its implementation; establishes a draft Quality Assurance Regulation; provides an authentic interpretation of the Regulation; monitors the implementation of the Quality Assurance Strategy, standards and procedures and proposes measures to eliminate identified weaknesses in order to improve quality; prepares proposals for improving standards, procedures and quality assurance methods in accordance with the standards of the National Council for Higher Education; takes measures to eliminate identified shortcomings in implementation; submits a report to the Council on the self-evaluation procedure; performs other tasks specified in the Faculty Statute, general acts adopted on the basis of the Statute, as well as tasks entrusted to it by the Teaching and Scientific Council, the Dean or the Faculty Council.
