University of Banja Luka

The University of Banja Luka is the leading higher education institution in the Republika Srpska and the second largest university in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was founded in 1975 and today has 16 faculties, the Academy of Arts and the Institute for Genetic Resources.

University of Sarajevo

The University of Sarajevo was founded in 1949. Today, it consists of thirty organizational units, full members - twenty-two faculties, three academies and five research institutes, within six groups in the fields of social, humanities, medical, technical, natural-mathematical and biotechnical sciences, as well as the arts.

"St. Cyril and Methodius" University in Skopje

The University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje is the first state university in the Republic of North Macedonia, founded in 1949, then with three faculties. Today, it represents a community of 23 faculties, 5 scientific institutes, 4 public scientific institutions - associate members, 1 associate member - other higher education institutions and 7 associate members - other organizations.

University of Montenegro

The University of Montenegro was founded in 1974 and is the oldest higher education institution in Montenegro. It consists of 19 faculties and three institutes, with an academic community of around 17.000 active students at all levels of study, and more than 1.000 academic, professional and other staff.

University of Ljubljana

The University of Ljubljana is the oldest and largest higher education and research institution in Slovenia, founded in 1919. Today, it consists of 29 faculties and academies, with almost 7.000 employees and over 37.000 active students. According to the Shanghai Ranking, it is ranked 501st among the best universities in the world.

University of Zagreb

The University of Zagreb, founded in the second half of the 17th century, is one of the oldest universities in Europe – 2019 marked its 350th anniversary. At the University of Zagreb, scientific, educational and artistic work is carried out at 29 faculties, 3 art academies, a vocational school - the Teachers' Academy and a university study - Croatian Studies. There are 33 polytechnics operating at the university.
