University of Belgrade - Faculty of Biology and the Serbian Society for Molecular Biology announce PUBLIC COMPETITION for the "Ana Kocić" award for the best scientific research work of students of basic academic studies at the University of Belgrade - Faculty of Biology, completed in the academic year 2025/2026.

We invite all students who have worked diligently on their research projects during the previous academic year to apply for the competition, which provides them with the opportunity to gain well-deserved recognition for their work and effort. All students of basic academic studies at the Faculty of Biology up to September 10, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. by filling in electronic questionnaire.

To apply, it is necessary to submit abstract of the scientific research paper, professional biography in the form of a CV, as well as a recommendation from the scientific research mentor for the student's candidacy. Incomplete and untimely submitted documentation will not be considered. Instructions for writing abstracts can be found at link.

The results of the competition will be published on the University of Belgrade website – Faculty of Biology и Serbian Society for Molecular Biology no later than September 16, 2026. The award will be presented at the celebration of the Day of the Faculty of Biology.
